Yup, front and center is Ari’s grandfather, age two months.  I’m amazed not just by their similar mops of dark hair, but by the resemblance I see in the contours the face, the shape of hairline, the deep set of the eyes.  In looks, she’s so clearly John.

The other day, John called home from work while Ari was going all missile launcher on me.  He claims that she got that voice from me.  Good God, couldn’t I have birthed an alto?

That resemblance is pretty cool! And give her time. When they’re babies, altos are just as shrill as sopranos.
