Oh my little bear, you make a trip to the post office fun. My bar for excitement is so, so low.
Today I will finish the first draft of a paper I’m writing on the laborist model in obstetrics…I got the data back in early September on the interviews I conducted in 2011-2012. Since then, I’ve only managed to write about 2127 words. Today I will finish, likely while breastfeeding with the brest-friend (nursing pillow, my fav) propped between me and computer. So it is written…
Tiny kids in winter hats with ears are basically my favorite thing in life 🙂
Mine too!!! And this is a fine solution for getting it to stay on her head: http://www.rei.com/product/817811/columbia-tiny-bear-bunting-infant-girls. She’s swimming in it 🙂
Ahhhh that is the best!
yeah! thanks so much!
Yeah for you and a cooperative Ari.
Thank you, Jill!
I cannot understand how you could finish a draft of anything while staying home with a baby. I know, I know, Rosie has four kids and is awesome, and one does get used to things and manage to do more with more kids, though how she can manage *anything* is beyond me, and I really do hope to visit her next week to help, and I also hope to end this sentence. Anyway, how long is the draft supposed to be? I ask as a professional writer/editor/whatever.
Also, that baby is ridiculously cute. As usual. Y’all are going to do something horrible to people’s blood sugar levels with something that sweet around. That child is dangerously adorable, and you have to up the ante? Over-achiever! 😉
Ah! Realized I never responded, my apologies! Rosie is awesome; she’s in a totally other league!
My draft ended up not being great, but it’s in my professor’s hands, so we’ll see. Thank you for asking!
And thank you for still thinking my daughter’s cute 🙂 She’s a sweetheart! I really, really hope you’re feeling better! No more flu!
Okay, we are not going to play ping-pong on these comments. 🙂
But I do want you to know that I don’t have the flu. I had it for twelve days, I think it was, and finally went to the doctor for something else. And I got a flu shot there just in case I am exposed to some other flu. It was cool—an intradermal thing, not intramuscular. No pain, just startlement. I recommend it, especially over having the flu.
And I had a 48-hour intestinal bug while I was at Rosie’s helping her take care of the kids. Fortunately, some very kind friends filled in for me!
Haha, okay, no ping-ponging…this is just to say that I’m glad you’re feeling better and I’m sorry it’s been such a rough winter! Stomach bugs are the absolute worst!
