an experiment

15 Apr

You would think that we would devote a nine-week course to a biological system we knew something about.

Apparently, there is something to this whole “positive-thinking” thing (increased activity in the prefrontal cortex?)…so, as I rev up to take this second B&B exam, I’m going to give it a try.  What’s the harm, right?

Anyway, I can use all the positive vibes I can get…so will you join me?  Thanks!

You have always been pretty positive. You always rise to the occasion, and get thru the objective pretty well. Get some sleep [what else is new ???] and shove it up their ass.

About the brain, K&I have been reading a psychologist’s take on the intelligence of dogs. She’s pretty serious [a prof at Columbia] and she cites a lot of recent studies — makes for very technical reading. But she generally supports your Mom’s belief that many animals had a lot more intelligence than we gave them credit for. Maybe not K’s two dachshunds, but other dogs…..

On another subject, I brought back the china that was in Mom’s room. Now you’ll have a full set when you move in with John this summer …… move in with John ??? Now what more positive vibes could you ever need?
